1. Please do lesson 21.
2. This is a 2 player game. Red uses the mouse. Blue uses the arrow keys. Good Luck!
3. Log into Scratch.
4. Follow along as we create the paddles and background together for Ping Pong.
Start by drawing the red paddle. Make it about 1/2 the height of the background. Then copy the Spite by duplicating it. Then change the new one to the color blue.
Below is the code for the red and then the blue paddles.
Add a ball as a new Sprite. Here is the code for the ball.
5. Challenge: Make the game stop when someone gets a score of 5. Announce who the winner is at the end of the game.
6. Exiting the classroom. Make sure you turn off the computer. Do not turn off the monitor.

THURSDAY- UP IN THE CLOUDS

1. Do lesson 22 today.
2. Play the game below. Think about what is different in this game from the others we have played?

3. Log into Scratch. Get the handouts from the teacher.
4. Create the game. Then see if you can make it better. Challenge: Make the game better. Add more sounds. Can you add another cloud? Can you fix the delay in the cloud moving?
5. Exiting the classroom: Make sure you turn off the computer. Do not turn off the monitor. You turn off the computer by going to the windows icon and selecting shut down. DO NOT PUSH A BUTTON TO TURN IT OFF, PLEASE.
