1. Watch the video of the robots playing soccer. Would you buy tickets to go see a robot match like this?
2. Test out how the Sphero robots work. Learn how to connect it to the tablet. How to aim it and then drive it.
3. Get your journals open to a new challenge. Copy the blue text into your journal. The red text should be your own ideas.
TUESDAY- PLAN AND BUILD
I can make a plan before building.
1. Build the puzzle below.
2. How do these animals move? How do they control which direction they go?
3. Use the cup and paper to design a plan. You only get 1 cup and piece of paper. You need to plan before you cut!
Write into your journal your plan and draw a picture.
4. When your journal is complete, you can test your design. How does it drive? Can you control the direction of the Sphero? Can you push the soccer ball with it? Write in your journal how it works. What do you want to change?
