MONDAY - WELCOME BACK

TUESDAY - WPM?
I can use proper typing techniques.
1. Take a look at these things that sometimes pop up on your computer.
2. Funny teacher song.
3. Take a look at the chart below. Do you know how fast you can type? Do you keep your fingers on the home row keys?
You will take a 1 minute typing test to find out your wpm (words per minute). When you get done, look for your score. Do NOT click if you do not see it. You might lose it and have to do it all over again.
Take this test. It will stop after 1 minute.
Continue with your lessons in Typing Club unless you test out this year.
4. Log off your computers and get ready to line up.
WEDNESDAY - INTERNET SAFETY
I can stay safe when online.
1. We will watch this video together.
2. Build the puzzle. Read the words about internet safety.
3. Find all the words in the puzzle.
4. Typing Club. NO password needed.
5. Log off the computers. Sit quiet and wait to get lined up.
THURSDAY - INTERNET SAFETY
I can answer questions about internet safety.
1. We will take this Online Safety quiz together.
2. Make a poster in Tux Paint about 1 internet safety tip. Be sure to give your poster a title, a picture, and words of wisdom. Also include your name and grade on the page. I made an example for you to look at.
4. Log into Typing Club and begin the 3rd grade lessons.
5. Log off and getting ready to line up.
FRIDAY - FINISH YOUR POSTERS
1. Typing Club
2. Finish your poster if it was not finished yesterday.
3. You may have free time if your work is completed.
