MONDAY - INTRO TO SCALES
1. Log into Typing Club and continue with your lessons.

5. Sign out and line up when instructed.
TUESDAY: BUILD A BALANCE SCALE
I can work as a team to accomplish a goal.
1. Typing Club
2. You will move to the lab table the teacher assigns. Have a discussion with your group and develop a plan.
Then you may begin building. If you complete the challenge, everyone in the group give me a thumbs up.
How do you know if an object weighs more than another?
3. Save your scale for the next day. Clean up. Log off and wait to line up.
WEDNESDAY
I can tell which objects are heavier or lighter.
1. Type for 10 minutes.
2. At your tables, use the scale you build to weigh the different objects in the totes. Place them from lightest to heaviest. Raise your hand to show the teacher when finished.
3. Try all of these activities below.
4. Log off the computers. Sit at your seat until you are asked to line up.
THURSDAY - ESTIMATING
I can estimate the weight of objects.
1. Typing Club
2. Measure the items in your tote. A penny weighs about 3 grams. Use this information to estimate the weight of the other objects in your tote. Record your estimates on the paper handed out.
3. Take your scales apart. Separate all the pieces and put the totes away.
4. Clean up and put things away.
FRIDAY - FUN FREE FRIDAY
I can have fun and stay safe online.
1. Typing Club. Practice for at least 10 minutes.
2. You may have Fun Friday time. This means you may do activities from pmasterson.net.
