I would like a classroom helper for the week. Any volunteers? You must be someone who is willing to clean up, especially before everyone else so you have time to get name tags, put out next class name tags, etc.

TUESDAY - STEM JOURNALS
I can assemble my new STEM journal.
1. Typing Club
2. Solve the puzzle.
3. Small groups to get journals. Color your first page. Watch this video while you wait to get your journals.
Log off the computers. Get lined up quietly. Stand on your numbers quietly, please.
WEDNESDAY - POWER FUNCTIONS CAR
I can plan a STEM project
1. Wash hands. Build the puzzle.
2. Intro to Lego Power Functions. Use the pieces of motor set and extra technic parts to build a working car. There are only picture instructions for this build.
This is a working motor that spins. NEVER put it near your face or hair.
3. You may take your working vehicle to the carpet area for testing. Be careful to not let if fall off the table.
4. Clean Up and put materials away. Listen for instructions.
5. Log off your computers and get ready to line up.
THURSDAY - PLAN AND DESIGN
I can design and build something that moves.
1. Wash hands and get name tag.
2. Move to your lab tables. Today you will finish building the first vehicle with your Power Functions kit.
3. What else can you create that has a moving part?
4. Take the pieces apart and return everything back to the tote. Make sure the battery box is turned off.
Return the tote to the cabinet and return to your seat.
