2. Practice your typing.
3. Log off and stay seating until asked to line up, please.

TUESDAY - PUMPKIN CHUNKIN
I can follow picture directions to build a catapult.

1. Working with a partner/or solo, you will use the Lego Prime building totes to create a catapult.

These are the Lego Prime robots, not the Essential like you used last time. This hub can have up to 6 items plugged in at a time. We will be using a large and medium motor to move the arm and a touch sensor to trigger the launch.
Catapult link directions - If the above is not working correctly.

2. If your catapult is plugged in and charging and your tote is put away, please do these activities below.

3. Log off and sit quietly until you are asked to line up.

WEDNESDAY - TESTING YOUR CATAPULT

1. Practice your typing skills.

2. Downloading the program and testing it. I will show you how to connect your hub and run your program. This hub can hold up to 20 programs. It is important to know which program is yours.

3. Keep your face and hair away from your catapult. Wear safety glasses when operating your catapult. Only toss the soft foam pieces and not in the direction of people.

If your catapult does not work as it should, you need to problem solve. Review your program to see if you wrote any of the code incorrectly.  Also check to make sure your built the catapult according to the pictures given.

3. You and your partner will take turns testing out your catapult at the tables.

Only toss the soft objects and only toss in the direction of the containers. Never toss towards a person!

You may have your partner adjust the program while you are tossing to give you more or less power if needed.

If you are waiting for a turn with the catapult, then you may play these games.

FRIDAY - CATAPULT COMPETITION/CLEAN UP
1. Catapult competition - Just for fun, try to see how many points you can score.

-When you are finished with your catapult, you are to take it apart and put all the pieces back into the tote in the correct place. Also organized the tote if it is messed up.

-Bring me your prime hub (the yellow box) while it is still turned on. I will erase the programs that may still be on it.

-Show me your organized tote. If approved, then put it back into the cabinet.

2.
Free Time on pmasterson.net or you may do Tux Paint.

3.
If everyone is done and cleaned up, I could use some helpers to clean around the room.
