3. Watch the video as a class. It is very important for you and the equipment to NOT make a short circuit!

4. Project 1 with Snap Circuits. I will show you how to "read" the directions in this manual. Then you will begin project 1 and 2.

5. Clean up. Sit back at your assigned seat. Line up on your circle when it is time to go.

TUESDAY - SNAP CIRCUITS
I can use a resistor to adjust the output of sound.

1.  What is a resistor? What does it do? Did you know this room used to be a Home Economics Room with stoves, refrigerators, washers and dryers?

2. Next projects show how a resistor can alter the output. Continue working forward and in order of the manual.

3. Clean up. Return to your assigned seat. Line up when instructed.

WEDNESDAY - CONTINUE WITH THE PROJECTS.

I can tell the difference between series and parallel circuits.

2. Continue with Projects #5 and #6. Which one was a series circuit? Continue working forward on more projects if you have time.

3. Clean Up.
In your groups, create both circuits and show me how they work.

Then continue on with the projects.

5. If you are no longer working in a group, do the activities below.

6. Log off. Organize your computer area. Line up on your circle when it is time to go.

THURSDAY - SNAP CIRCUITS
I can build circuits that work.

2. Make all the lights on the tree turn on. You can go under settings and make it full screen.

3. Play the games below. I just added the last one and it has many games.

FRIDAY - SNAP CIRCUITS
I can create other circuits that work.

1. Look ahead at other lessons. What do you want to try? Make an alarm? Find another lesson to do today.

2.  When you are finished with your kit. Please remove the batteries and leave them in the box. Return your kit and then you can have some free time if your journal is complete.
