3. You will need to create your account for Scratch. All old accounts have been deleted. Click below to begin.

4. Go to your studio. Open the Cat and Mouse Masterson game. Click on Remix.

Give this game a background and sounds to make it more exciting.
Then increase the size of the mouse to make it harder.

Show me when completed.
5. Save your project at the end of the hour.

TUESDAY - CREATE A NEW GAME IN SCRATCH
I can remix and debug a program.

1. Play the game, Balloon Burst. Use the mouse to aim, click to shoot at balloons.
2. What are the sprites in this game?

What are the variables?

3. Watch the video along with the printed pages and it should be a piece of cake.
4. If your game is working, then try to change it up a bit.  Upload your remix to the studio if you would like to share it.

Log off and wait until instructed to line up.

WEDNESDAY - SCRATCH CODING
I can remix a game to make it my own.
1. Go back into Scratch and get caught up if you are behind.

Share your game to the studio if you want others to play it.
You can choose, #2 activity or #3. You may do both if you wish.
2. Play the game, Shooting Stars.

Remix challenge: Could you draw a tank (to replace the triangle) and have the turret and gun move like the arrow in Balloon Burster but the tank moves left and right like the triangle below?

And have fireballs or bombs falling from the sky instead of stars?
Go into the Studio and make a copy of this game to Remix. Make it into something new.

3.
Play and create Brick Bouncer. You will need to use the worksheets to create this game.

I wrote PADDLE 2 on the worksheet, but it is really BUTTON 2 in the program.
4. If you finish early, remix the game to give it a new look and feel.

THURSDAY - THE SNAKE GAME
I can work independently and create a working game.

1. Today you will make The Snake Game. Play the game below.

Watch and follow the video or use the code below to make the snake game.

Make the game after you played it a few times. Instead of a snake, can you make a different character?

Go into Scratch.
3. Modify the game once you get it working. Share your creation into the Studio for others to play.

4.  Create a game of your very own.

FRIDAY - DRIVING GAME
1. Go back into Scratch. Finish your game from yesterday and post it into the studio.
2. Work to create the new game on the sheets handed out.

NOTE: You can just make a red rectangle with headlights. Don't worry about the entire top of the car.
