3. You are to create a Scratch account in my classroom. Please begin with your first name and your computer number. You may need to add extra letters or numbers if it says it is already taken. Be sure to write it down in your name tag. Then create a password. Do NOT use your school lunch code. Make a password and write it inside your name tag. Complete the rest of the registration.

4. First Activity: Make a sprite move, make a sound, and say something. Watch the video below to learn how to do this.
TUESDAY - CODING WITH BLOCKS

Activity 2: Make a sprite appear to fly, run, or swim repeatedly.
Do the tutorial, Make It Fly. Be ready to share by the end of the hour.
Here is the code I used to make the fence move and then the horse.

THURSDAY - MAKE A GAME
I can code to make a game.
1. Typing Club
2. Play the Soccer Kicks Ball game.
3. We will work together to create a scratch game like the one above. Follow along until you get the code. You can make it your own later.
4. Change the game to a different background, paddle, score, etc. Make it your own or add more features to it.
FRIDAY - FREE CHOICE
I can find my typing speed in words per minute.
1. Take this 3 minute typing test to find out your typing speed. Words Per Minute. Raise your hand when finished to show the teacher to get it recorded.
