MAKING THE WORLD AWESOME ONE BRICK AT A TIME
This is a competition build with awards given out in each category and grade level. You do not need to submit your entry, but you do need to build one.
Grab some bricks and build a model to show the world that you can make a difference.
There are 3 categories, Kindness to Others, Earth Friendly, and A Better Me. The build can be a scene, a picture, a structure, etc.
Students must complete a form before beginning their builds. A short explanation of your topic will be required. Some examples are below.

- Students will use a 5 inch square base plate to display their build.
- Lego bricks, props, and minifigs are also available.
- All work must be completed in the classroom.

I will use my baking skills to bring happiness to the neighborhood. For every dessert I make, I will make one for someone in the neighborhood to enjoy as well.

Title: Clean the Streets
My friend and I will keep our neighborhood clean by picking up trash when we see it. We will return cans and bottles to the store and toss the garbage in containers to be collected.

TUESDAY - CONTINUE WITH PROJECTS

6th Grade may work on Scratch coding to make a game to share. See me for worksheets.

WEDNESDAY - CONTINUE WITH PROJECTS
I can work on my project independently.
1. Play the Scratch game below. Use the arrow keys to move up and down. Fly through the clouds to score points.
2. Continue with your projects. If you are finished, you may do the Dinosaur Activities on the front of pmasterson.net

FRIDAY - PROJECT REVIEW
I will reflect on my project this week.
1. Please take a few minutes to respond to the questions below. Use complete sentences and give details.
2. We will go view all of the class projects in the library. Read each paper and use your eyes only to look at their work. Compliments are nice. Keep any negative thoughts to yourself.
