1. Words Per Minute
2. Watch the video about Drag Racing cars. Describe the shape of these cars. How do they stop?
3. Test out a car that has a pull back motor inside of it. How does it work? What makes it go? What makes it stop?
4. Play the race car games. I will help you with the first one.
TUESDAY: BUILDING YOUR DRAGSTER
I can work with a partner/alone to build a drag racing car.

2. Look at the two types of race cars. The red one is a dragster the white one is a Nascar. How are they similar and how are they different?
3. When your car is ready to be tested, raise your hand for permission to enter the hallway and test your car. If it falls apart, needs adjusting, etc. Go back into the room to work on it.
Test out different styles and the different wheels. When you think you have the fastest car possible, go back into the room and put your car away.

2. Driving accuracy. For this activity you will drive your car and attempt to knock over all the blocks. Each person will do this activity on their own. While you are waiting for your turn, do the activities below.
